STEM is an interdisciplinary approach to learning that combines Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. It encourages children to explore how different areas of knowledge connect and complement one another, helping them develop creative and innovative ways of thinking.
The classes are based on learning through hands-on experience, exploration, and discovery. Children have the opportunity to conduct experiments, build and construct, design their own solutions, and solve practical problems. Through project-based activities and a variety of challenges, they develop creativity, logical and critical thinking, independence, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. They also learn that making mistakes and trying different approaches are a natural and valuable part of the learning process.
The programme includes a variety of practical projects, such as physics and chemistry experiments, engineering and construction challenges, biomimicry, design activities, and Design Thinking. The content and level of difficulty are adapted to the age and abilities of the participants.
The workshops are led by a certified and experienced STEM trainer with many years of experience in delivering hands-on educational programmes for children.
