Go in Japanese, Weiqi in Chinese or Baduk in Korean is an ancient game, whose name means "surrounding board game".

According to tradition, Go was invented more than 4000 years ago. The most famous legend is that it was invented by Emperor Yao to educate his son Dan Zhu. Go has always been one of the most played games in the world.

In this game each player tries to use threats of capture, isolation to assert control over the board, and thereby defeating his opponent. A strategy game at heart, Go is about establishing boundaries and improvement of one’s personality.

Children will develop divergent thinking. A solution is not always direct, as you can win by not attacking your opponent directly. They will learn how to plan long-term strategies, while making every move with care, as you cannot take it back after making it. They will increase self- discipline. The game is easy start, but it takes time to master its tactics. Children will learn to use effective negotiation skills when dealing with their opponent.

Introduction course - 10 lessons (each lesson 60 min.)
